The Lexus IS 250 and Lexus IS 350 are entry-level luxury vehicles, also known as compact executive models, that have been on the market since 1999. The first-generation Lexus IS , which means "Intelligent Sport," debuted in Europe and the United States in 2000, while the second-generation was launched to the rest of the world in 2006. The Lexus IS 350 is a more powerful version of the Lexus IS 250, and both compete against the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
